Course Summary This webinar explores the core principles of play and movement as foundational elements of infant mental health. Participants will examine how early sensory-motor experiences support brain development, emotional regulation, attachment, and relational safety in the first years of life. Through a relationship-based lens, the session will highlight how responsive, developmentally appropriate play and movement foster connection between infants and caregivers while also supporting caregivers’ capacity to co-regulate, observe cues, and build reflective practice. Practical strategies will be shared to help professionals integrate play and movement into everyday interactions across diverse early childhood settings.
